With his mild winters, high amount of sunny days and a low average of rainy days, Mallorca offers the perfect conditions for sports and leisure all year long.
In February and March, Mallorca is full of colour, with green lands and blooming almond trees as far as you can see. With an average temperature of 14°C, the weather is pretty good.
April is a very popular month to visit Mallorca for cyclists. The sun is getting warmer and warmer and the first who worship the sun are arriving on the beaches. You're sure to keep your arm- and legwarmers in your hotel room! The average temperature reaches 17°C.
May and June are the first months where you'll walk down the boulevard without a sweater. During the day and after the ride it will be really sunny with an average temperature of around 25°C.

Tours
When you're on Mallorca you will find a well-preserved network of cycling-friendly roads with little traffic. These roads offer flat, hilly and mountainious tracks.Whether you prefer a challenging uphill tour or a more recreational ride, everything is possible!
As a guest at Fred Rompelberg Bicycle Holidays it's possible to experience the island in middle-sized groups of your own strength with an experienced group leader. Our group leaders know all great and beautifull routes, hidden climbs and great squares for your well-earned coffee half-way.
You can choose to explore the island all by your self as well with the map every guest gets when booking with Fred Rompelberg.

Serra de Tramuntana
The mountain range ‘Serra de Tramuntana’ received the state of World Heritage from UNESCO on 27th June 2011, as an area with an important scenic and cultural importance.
In this mountain range you will find pittoresque villages, where it looks like as if time has stopped a 100 years ago. Our guided tours take you to villages such as Andratx, Deìa and Valldemossa. Order a “café con leche” on a charming village square, while you give your legs some rest.

Palma
For culinary and cultural highlights you head for the capital Palma de Mallorca. Only 20 minutes by bus, with stops just around the corner of our hotels, you will find yourself on the central square and you will be surrounded by typical Mallorquin markets, exclusive boutiques, cultural and historical buildings (such as the enormous cathedral of Palma) and fine restaurants. Palma offers everything for a nice city trip of a day, for example on a resting day.
