Shop Manager

For our operations on the beautiful island of Mallorca , we are looking for a Full-time Shop Manager.

Job Description
As Shop Manager you are the first point of contact for the team of shop employees. You have the daily management and are responsible for the planning and staffing of the various (4) shop locations.

You take care of the well-being and optimal functioning of the employees so that customers are optimally served. Besides store layout and stock management, you are responsible for cash control.

You are co-responsible for a good team spirit and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You guard the organizational culture and are open to feedback from guests as employees.

Furthermore, you have weekly progress meetings with your fellow coordinators. In addition to this main activity, you support recruitment and selection. Furthermore, by mutual agreement you are available for ad hoc work at the various locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the four stores.
• Manage, motivate and develop store staff.
• Responsible for purchasing, inventory management and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle complaints and inquiries.
• Implement sales strategies to increase sales.
• Analyze sales figures and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to create synergies and improve operational efficiency.
• Organize promotional activities and events to increase store visibility.

Profile:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar position.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and strong problem solving skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes.
• Customer focused with a passion for service and quality.
• Affinity with the travel industry and cycling is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Able and willing to work on location in Mallorca (year round).
