Bike Rental Coordinator

For our operations on the beautiful island of Mallorca , we are looking for a Bike Rental Coordinator.

We rent over 800 high-quality road bikes of the brands Fuji and Wilier. In addition, we rent out E-bikes from BESV. We offer full-service bike vacations all the way to afternoon rentals. We have four rental locations on Mallorca.

Job Description
You are the first point of contact for guests when they pick up their rental bikes. Based on the reservations and bookings, you set up the planning for the adjustment and preparation of the bikes. You do this in close cooperation with the mechanics.

You coordinate the team of mechanics, bike cleaners and bike preparers in such a way that the bikes are ready in time for the guests. You also coordinate the delivery of bikes to other rental locations or to guests staying outside our hotels. The planning of the bikes is fully digitized. You work in accordance with the established guidelines.

You are co-responsible for a good team spirit and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You guard the organizational culture and are open to feedback from guests as employees. Furthermore, you have weekly work meetings with your fellow coordinators. You are available by mutual agreement for ad hoc work in line with the job off-season.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Manage and coordinate the scheduling of rental bikes
• Managing and motivating workshop employees
• Responsible for final inspection of rental bikes
• Responsible for timely entry into digital planning system
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to create synergy and promote operational efficiency

Profile:

• MBO+ working and thinking level
• Proven experience in logistics and affinity with planning
• Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Customer-oriented and striving for high service and quality
• Language knowledge: Dutch, German, English Spanish is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality, Flexible, Team player,
• Affinity with the travel industry and cycling is an advantage
• Willing to want to live and work on Mallorca
