A long success story about Fred Rompelberg
Fred Rompelberg is the former holder of the absolute world speed record for bicycles, 268 km/h. This record was set in 1995 on the salt flats of Salt Lake City, USA.
Fred Rompelberg was a professional cyclist on the road, track and salt marshes for 40 years. This made him the longest active professional cyclist in history. Because of his love for this sport, he started organizing all-inclusive cycling vacations in Mallorca together with his wife Tiny after his active career. Fred and Tiny are passionate about offering their guests fantastic cycling experiences in Mallorca. Since 2017, Letizia Rompelberg (Fred and Tiny’s daughter) and her husband Jetse Scholma have been responsible for organizing luxury sports holidays, guided tours and bike rental in Mallorca. They met in Mallorca in 2002 when Jetse was a group leader in our team. Jetse and Letizia are both keen cyclists and triathletes.
